Vision

Our Vision

“To Encourage the Adventures spirit”
To build a world class trail experience library that mobilises people,
helping more people explore and better understand natural environments.

People approach the natural environment with many different paradigms.  It therefore makes sense to present possible nature based trail experiences to the community in many different ways.

Bushwalking is broad term that basically means moving from point to point through the natural environment, on foot.  For a long time “bushwalking” has been viewed as a ‘hard core’ experience for the tough and adventurous.
A 10 minute stroll to a lookout is a valid bushwalking experience, as is a 10 day self-sufficient hike across the mountains.  This broader understanding of the possible bushwalking experiences makes nature based experiences more accessible to more people.

In this context, we have undertaken at Wildwalks to document a wide range of possible bushwalking experiences catering for the needs of the whole community. We hope to bring many more new paradigms to the world of bushwalking in time.

At the end of the day it is about understanding your motivation for wanting to go head bush.

For some;
• the sense of getting lost is a great challenge, for others pure fear
• the idea of a cafe lunch half way is pure bliss, for others distracting
• a 10 min stroll is just a warm up, for others it long enough

The range of experiences is endless.

Please enjoy our online library, and I hope that you find many experiences right for you.

“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky.

Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature.”
